He also serves as the CEO and Chairman of Phoenix Motor Inc., where his leadership spans the development of electric vehicles (EVs) and related charging infrastructure, emphasizing his commitment to sustainable energy practices. Under his stewardship, SPI Energy has emerged as a formidable force in the global market, developing innovative solutions in solar, battery storage, and electric mobility. He began his leadership role at SPI Energy in January 2011 as Director and Executive Chairman and has been the CEO since 2016.
